I moved to Augusta last year, and I found it very hard to book a new dentist. After an exhaustive search, this practice was one of the few that was accepting new patients. I had my initial first visit last month and I was quite pleased. First of all, I was able to get a 7:30AM appointment, which is very unusual for a dental practice to offer.

The office is very relaxing, and for an early morning, I noticed that all of the staff looked happy and upbeat. I had to wait less than 5 mins before going back for my services. When I got to the back, my hygienist was very detailed and was able to quickly assess my treatment. I was also very pleased to be able to have the cleaning done on the same day as my first appointment. A lot of dental offices require patients to come back for a 2nd appointment to get a cleaning.

The hygenist informed me that I needed a deep cleaning due to the amount of build-up below my gumline, and I was able to have the procedure done during the visit.

After I had the cleaning done, the dentist came in to examine my teeth. He found a few issues that needed attention, but he did not try to force me to have the work done (like a lot of dentists do).

I really felt like this dental practice is all about making sure the patient is taken care of properly, and I didn’t feel like they were trying to run up my insurance and get as much as they could (like a lot of dental practices do).

I am really pleased with the staff and the way they go above and beyond to care for my dental needs.

Dr. Westmoreland and his entire staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They really take the time to get to know the patient. They intently listen to the patient and address patient concerns. I am a bit of a nervous patient and they go above and beyond to address these concerns during each visit. While they provide appointment reminders, they are not intrusive in their pursuit like some practices are (calling you at work etc.) One thing I truly like about this practice is they offer affordable dental insurance that is provided through the practice directly. Costs are on par with average expenses these days. They also take Care Credit! Would highly recommend their services to all who inquire. Thank you for your caring and confident approach to not just dental care but to the patient as a whole.

I discovered Westmoreland, from a drive-by. I hadn’t been to a dentist in 9 years and was very nervous about going to one, but it was due time since I had an abscess on my gum and I felt a hole on my tooth, there was no pain.

I called, and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. They were able to get me in the next day. I felt confident they were following the proper procedures for COVID. The outside and inside building was clean. Everyone that I spoke with was friendly. I would compare their customer service to the stellar Chick-Fil-a customer service. The hygienist, ATC student, and dentist all made me feel comfortable and welcomed. Time Management was excellent!

I will be setting regular dentist appointments for myself and changing my kid’s dentist.
